Hello Friends,
"Simplified rep“ is an useful option ,While working with very big assembly. Simplified representations improve regeneration, retrieval, and display time and let you tailor your work environment to include only the information of current interest to you.

We can create simplified reps in two methods
Method 1.Removing the parts or sub assembly that you are not working on from an big assembly.
Or
Method 2.Keeping the parts or sub assembly only that you are working on from an big assembly.

I think it is confusing in this stage, so I take you through examples.

1.Removing the parts which we don’t want in the master assembly
In a master assembly ,I want to make a simplified rep in which I want to remove Door bins and crisper pan.
(Please note that this method is useful when the number of unwanted parts are less)

Create new /Redefine

Select Exclude

Select the parts which should not be in the lay out

Simplified layout by method-1

2.Keep the parts which we want in the Master assembly

In this master assembly ,I want to make simplified rep in which I want to Keep only Door bins and crisper pan.
(Please note that this method is useful when the number of wanted parts are less.)

Create new /Redefine

Select Exclude /Select the master assembly in the model tree

As soon as we select master assembly in the model tree, it is changing from “Master Rep” comp to “Exclude comp”

Select Include

Select The parts which we want to keep

Simplified layout by method-2
